Myrtle Cottage has been successful in obtaining recurrent funding under the Home and Community Care (HACC) grants. This funding has allowed us to fully implement the four (4) programs:
Centre based activities for people who are frail aged
Centre based activities for people with dementia
Community Linkline program for people who are socially isolated
Recreational programs for younger people with disabilities
Myrtle Cottage transport program now operates with six (6) buses allowing the Cottage to provide door to door transport daily to all members.
