Become a member / Assessment Procedure

The first contact with Myrtle Cottage will be a home visit by our manager or a Programme Co-ordinator, who will explain our operations, discuss the programme most suited to you and conduct a formal assessment. This assessment identifies the information needed for people attending including, likes, dislikes, abilities, disabilities and how the cottage can best assist.

The new member will make the final decision as to how they may take advantage of their involvement with Myrtle Cottage.

Where a waiting list exists for the programme, priority to access is determined based on relative need compared to other people on the waiting list.
